The activities are designed to be safe for all participants and geared toward their individual abilities. ACCIDENTs may still occur. Therefore, the District requests that you, the parent(s) or guardian of each participant check your medical insurance to verify that your child will be adequately insured in the event they suffer an injury or accident during camp activities. Further, I assume all risks associated with this event, including, but not limited to, falls, being struck with balls or equipment, contact with other participants, the effects of weather (including high heat and humidity) and the condition of the playing field, such risks, whether known or unknown, are appreciated by me. Having read this and knowing these facts, and in consideration of my participation and as a condition of my student’s participation I for myself, my family and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive, hold harmless and release the Pickerington Local School District Board of Education, its employees, representatives, officials, agents, volunteers and coaches from all damages, costs, claims, fees and liabilities of any kind in this event and as a result of my student’s participation in the camp.
I have investigated my insurance policy and I am satisfied that there is adequate medical insurance coverage for my child who will be attending the Tiger Football Camp.
